Sales!

We are enjoying another heat wave, and just in time for Canada Day.  This year it is on Sunday, and I can't wait for all of the festivities.  Since this weekend will be busy, I wanted to let you know about a few sales before I head out.


Romajo has 2 new kits today, and just as a reminder everything in her store is 50% off.  (including the kits I am going to show you now!)  The first new kit is the second volume of her Express Yourself series.  This time she made the words in acrylic.

 

I love how my layout turned out using these words!  On this layout I used Express Yourself Vol. 2, Purple Elegance and Spring Paper Pack.

The next kit is a wonderful dotted alpha kit.  There are two different alpha in this kit.  One is a distressed chipboard, and the other is a gelly alpha. 

On this layout I used the chipboard alpha, and also Royal Celebrations, Basic Kit (dark)Blue, Express Yourself Vol. 1 all by Romajo.

On this one I used the Gelly alpha as well as Basic Kit - Red, Basic Kit - (dark)Blue and Royal Celebration.

Template Pack 2 and Stitched Alpha

I am in Love with our weather right now.  We have actually had rain and cooler temperatures this week.  So much so that I completely forgot yesterday was Saturday!!  So I am a little late in showing these off, and I hope you don't mind.  :)

So without further waiting, here are some new kits from Romajo.  This week she has created some go to kits that you can use for almost every layout.  (And remember that her store is 50% off until she has received her EHD back.)  The first is a template pack, and the second is a kit with 2 stitched alphas.  Take a look:

Summer has Arrived!  Well technically yes, but we have had summer temperatures since April.  I hate to say it, but I would love some rain, and a few cold nights.  So while I was thinking about the heat and sunshine, I was trying to finish an album for the first half of this year.  I was working on a page showing the first robin that I seen this past spring.  So I thought I would show it to you.  I used Flip Flap Flutter by Mommy Me Time Scrapper, and a template by Fiddle Dee Dee Designs.    To go to either of their websites, just click on their names.

Proud as a Peacock

It has been a rough week for computers.  Two of the designers that I work with are having issues, and mine just got back from being fixed!  So I hope that your computer doesn't 'catch' anything either. 

Marieke of Romajo has had her external hard drive crash which means that she has nothing new to show you today.  However she has extended the sale in her store until it gets fixed.  So that is 50% off everything!  She is not sure how long it will take to get fixed, it could be one week, or it could be 6, so if you are interested in anything please click HERE and grab it while it is on sale.

During the birthday events over at Stuff to Scrap I was lucky enough to win a custom made it by The Scrappy Kat.  It took a little bit to decide, but I chose this picture as inspiration for her to go by.

So last week Kat sent me what she created.  It is called Proud as a Peacock and I Love it!  She did an amazing job.  But well see for yourself....

Before I start I just want to say, that I am addicted to my computer!  I am not on it a lot.  However when it was away getting fixed I was grieving my time away from it.  (Sad huh?)   The good news is that it IS fixed, and working better than ever.  so now I can tell you all about this SUPER kit.

 When I took a look through this kit, what jumped out at me was the versatility of it.  To show you what I mean, here are two layouts that I created using this kit.  As you can see they are definitely different! 

  Pretty incredible.  When I thought about making a freebie for you the first thing that came to mind was a frame with a comic look.  As I kept going though I  changed my thought a little.  Not only does Amazing, and One of a Kind apply to the men in our life, but it also applies to fireworks!!  So I kept that in mind and I created this:  (click on the preview or click HERE to download)

Feeding Frenzy

Do you know what happens when Mommy Me Time Scrapper and Digital Scrap Fun work together on a zoo collaboration?  Two huge kits filled with animals.  They each took a different direction in their kits.  Mommy Me Time Scrapper designed Feeding Frenzy: Safari.  Like the name suggests it focuses more on animals in the wild.  Digital Scrap Fun designed Feeding Frenzy: Petting Zoo and she focused on a petting zoo as her inspiration.  Here are these amazing kits:  (All the images are linked to the store.)

More Basic Kits from Romajo

I am in the process of getting my computer ready to go and get fixed.  :(  I am hoping that I won't be without it too long!  I am tired of making sure everything is backed up, so I thought I would get a jump on this post.  Which means you get to see the new kits earlier, and are able to grab the freebies sooner as well.

Marieke of Romajo has been busy working on more kits for her Basic Kits series.  This week she has Brown, Green, and Orange releasing!  The orange kit was made to cheer on the Dutch team in the European Championships Soccer.  Their first game is today!
